63-year-old Jon Landau, Oscar-winning producer of Titanic and Avatar, has passed away after battling cancer. Landau, born to film producers Ely and Edie Landau, began his career at Twentieth Century Fox in the 1990s, overseeing projects such as Die Hard 2, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and Dick Tracy. He collaborated with James Cameron on numerous films, winning an Academy Award for Best Picture for Titanic.
