92-year-old Eva Trifonos, founder of the acclaimed Blue Submarine fish and chip shop in Dudley, has passed away. Migrating from Greece at 23, she worked across industries before opening her shop, known for her strong personality and family love. She sold the business to her son Tony before her health declined. Her funeral is on July 15 at Birmingham's Greek Church, followed by burial at Quinton cemetery.
