16-year-old boy in Georgia loses both legs after train accident in Rome.

16-year-old boy in Georgia loses both legs after being hit by a train in Rome early on Friday morning. Police found him at the railroad crossing at E. Callahan Street, where Rome officers administered first aid before the Rome Fire Department and Atrium Health EMS took over. The teen was taken to Atrium Health Floyd in critical condition. Norfolk Southern Railroad will conduct an independent investigation.
