28-year-old Adam Abdullahi Elmi was fatally shot in Westboro, Ottawa, near Carling and Kirkwood avenues on Friday evening. Ottawa police are investigating the incident and urging anyone with video footage or information to contact the homicide unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5493, or provide anonymous tips through 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppers.ca. No suspects have been apprehended.
