West Nipissing has closed its RV dumping station located by the landfill in River Valley due to multiple issues discovered during a recent site review by the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks. The station's closure was recommended by the municipality's Director of Infrastructure, Elizabeth Henning. Alternative dumping station options are available in Field, Sturgeon Falls, and Verner.
