Puy du Fou, a French historical-themed attraction, plans to invest £300m in a new UK theme park near Oxford, creating 700 jobs and an additional 2,000 jobs at local businesses. The 300-400 acre site will feature British history and culture, and is set to be located in Cherwell, north of Bicester, near the M40 highway. The company aims to open two new destinations by 2030, with the UK remaining a preferred location.
