1 person was killed and 79 injured after a tornado struck Dongming County in east China's Shandong Province on Friday. The tornado hit the county seat, Caiyuanji Township and Shawo Township, causing extensive damage to the area. The China Meteorological Administration issued a tornado warning for parts of Shandong and neighboring Jiangsu province on Friday. This is the first tornado reported in Shandong this year.
