Pakistan and the U.S. agreed to send qualified Pakistani nurses to New York for employment following a meeting between NY State Assembly Deputy Speaker Phil Ramos and Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting also discussed increased cooperation in education, health, policing, and economic sectors. A delegation of Islamabad Police is set to visit New York for a training program.
