Nebraska secondary coach and defensive pass game coordinator Evan Cooper, who has been with Matt Rhule's staff since 2013, has resigned for personal reasons. Cooper played at Temple under Rhule's tenure as an assistant coach. During his time at Nebraska, the secondary played a key role in the Huskers' best statistical defense since joining the Big Ten in 2011, with the pass defense ranked 9th nationally.
