Due to issues in the export and import process, Afghanistan has resorted to alternative routes. Traders mostly import goods from Chabahar port, and the decrease in imports from Pakistan has led to a drop in business for some drivers working on the Torkham-Kabul route, but Nangarhar customs revenue remains unaffected.
