Paris' Moulin Rouge cabaret restored its red windmill before the Olympic torch relay.

Paris' famous Moulin Rouge cabaret has restored its red windmill after it inexplicably collapsed earlier this year. The windmill, a symbol of the surrounding Montmartre neighbourhood, was repaired in time for the Olympic torch relay passing through the area on July 15. The Moulin Rouge, known for its can-can dancers and burlesque shows, first illuminated the windmill on October 6, 1889, at its opening.
