A middle-aged man in Osun, Nigeria, jumped into the Gbodofon River on Saturday at 10:30 AM, reportedly saying "I am tired of this life" before leaping. Witnesses, including a man named Muri, saw the man on the bridge muttering in Yoruba before jumping in. The Osun State Fire Service was called to attempt a rescue, but the water level and currents prevented them from reaching the man. No trace of him was found.
