Mars Volta's drummer, Philo Tsoungui, joined Drumeo's "first time" challenge on YouTube, where musicians play unfamiliar songs without prior knowledge. She performed Rush's "Limelight", admitting its difficulty. The series has featured other renowned drummers, like Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Megadeth's Dirk Verbeuren. The Mars Volta will perform live in San Francisco with Deftones and System of a Down in August.
