4 individuals in a UTV were trapped in floodwaters near Pleasant Hill, Missouri on July 4. After almost 2 hours, the Cass County Sheriff's Disaster Emergency Response Team rescued them using a boat, with help from the Pleasant Hill Police Department, Pleasant Hill Fire Department, and Missouri State Highway Patrol. Rescued individuals were reunited with their families by 10:45pm.
