Ghanaian Dr. Nancy Abu-Bonsrah has made history as the first Black woman to graduate from the Johns Hopkins neurosurgery program in the US. The seven-year neurosurgery program at the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine marks an achievement for Dr. Abu-Bonsrah, as she is the first Black woman to complete this program in the medical school's 30-year history of accepting residents.
