Former Rockstar Games developer Joe Rubino has revealed that a planned Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) story DLC featuring Trevor was canceled due to the popularity and profitability of GTA Online. The DLC, which featured work from actor Steven Ogg, was not completely scrapped, with elements eventually incorporated into GTA Online. GTA Online became a major cash cow for Rockstar, making it difficult to justify the creation of a single-player DLC.
