A fire at TJ Waste & Recycling in Portsmouth led to the closure of the M275 motorway on July 6th. Firefighters were called at 6:30 am, and the motorway was closed in both directions due to thick black smoke. The M275 reopened at around 8:30 am with a reduced speed limit of 50 mph. The waste processing facility will be closed until further notice, and the area of the fire contained non-hazardous domestic and commercial waste.
