Delhi Lieutenant Governor approves corruption probe against ex-minister Satyendar Jain over 7 crore bribe for CCTV project.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has approved a probe under the Prevention of Corruption Act against former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain, who is accused of receiving a bribe of Rs 7 crore for a CCTV installation project in Delhi. Jain, currently in jail for a money laundering case, was in charge of installing 1.4 lakh CCTV cameras in Delhi at a cost of Rs 571 crore. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) dismissed the case as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's ongoing conspiracies against it and the Delhi government.
