In a year between July 2023 and July 2024, the Bauchi State Police Command arrested 2,077 suspects in connection with various crimes, according to the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil. The achievement was recorded under Commissioner of Police, CP Auwal Musa, who took office on 6th July 2023. The state faces numerous security challenges such as kidnapping, armed banditry, and thuggery.
