2 businessmen, Chimombe and Mpofu, remain in jail for fraud charges involving $7m Presidential Goat Scheme funds; bail hearing postponed to Monday.
Businessmen Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu remain in jail over the weekend due to the unwell presiding magistrate, whose bail hearing has been adjourned till Monday. The pair face fraud charges for alleged abuse of US$7 million Presidential Goat Scheme funds. Their defense attorneys will cross-examine the lead investigating officer from Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission on Monday.
