Brockville Fire Department's inaugural Belles and Ladders camp, aimed at empowering girls aged 15-18 to consider careers as firefighters, concluded successfully. Held at Fire Station 2, the three-day camp provided hands-on training in skills needed for the profession. The camp's goal was to educate and empower young women to try something that may be unconventional for their gender.
