This includes seismic upgrades at three dams, replacing old transmission lines, building new substations, and increasing power line capacity to support population and industrial growth. The projects are expected to generate thousands of jobs annually and contribute to providing clean, affordable, and reliable electricity to homes, businesses, and the economy. The investments represent a 50% increase compared to the previous 10-year capital plan.
