Auckland police caught a truck driver seven times over the legal alcohol limit during peak traffic hours. The driver was struggling to stay in his lane and scraped the wall multiple times. After being stopped in live lanes, the driver was found to have 1872 micrograms per litre of breath, far exceeding the legal limit. Police are concerned about the reckless decision-making of drivers under the influence.
