Agassiz RCMP officers rescued stranded swimmers on Harrison Lake during a training exercise on July 3rd. The group of people on flotation devices were pushed away from the shore by wind and the officers used a throw line to tow them to safety. Sgt. Andy Lot urged everyone to wear life jackets, stay within designated swimming areas, and be aware of changing weather conditions for a safe and enjoyable time on the water.
