2-year-old rescued orca calf, Brave Little Hunter, missing since May 10 after last sighting.
2-year-old female orca calf, Brave Little Hunter (kwiisah?is), who was rescued from a Vancouver Island lagoon in April, has not been seen since May 10 despite recent sightings of her family. Researchers from Bay Cetology believe she could be traveling with an unsighted pod, moving between orca groups, or possibly gone. The calf's last sighting indicated a good health condition, leading researchers to assume she is still alive.
