The National Weather Service confirms two tornadoes hit Louisville and southern Indiana on the Fourth of July. Preliminary assessments indicate an EF-1 tornado with 95 mph winds touched down in west Louisville, and an EF-0 tornado touched down in Harrison County, Indiana near Corydon. The tornadoes occurred without any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning.
