NSW government awarded grants to six councils to trial AI technologies in a bid to speed up local planning systems & approve more homes. The Early Adopter Grant Program targets improving the quality & accuracy of info in development applications, reducing admin workload for planners & applicants. AI trials aim to identify potential issues, resulting in more efficient approval processes & address the housing crisis.
