18-month-old toddler hit and killed by a truck in Burke County, North Carolina at Steel Creek Park & Family Campground's parking lot on July 4. A Chevrolet Silverado was attempting to pull around a building when the toddler, who walked in front of the vehicle, was struck. The driver was not injured, and no charges will be filed in this case as speed and alcohol were not contributing factors.
