India aims to send its first human to space and deep sea by 2025, as announced by Union Minister Jitendra Singh. Four astronauts from the Indian Air Force have been selected for the Gaganyaan mission, a three-day manned space mission scheduled for 2025. Additionally, the Deep-Sea mission, known as 'Samudrayaan', will send three Indians to a depth of 6,000 meters in the central Indian Ocean onboard Matsya6000, an indigenously developed manned submersible vehicle. These missions aim to impact sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, communication, and healthcare.
