India launches a Rs 200 crore scheme for green hydrogen testing facilities under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
India has announced guidelines for a Rs 200 crore scheme to fund testing facilities, infrastructure, and institutional support for the development of standards and regulatory frameworks under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The scheme aims to support the establishment of new testing facilities and the upgrade of existing ones. It will identify and address gaps in existing testing facilities for components, technologies, and processes in the value chain of green hydrogen and its derivatives. The scheme will be implemented with a total budgetary outlay of Rs 200 crore until the financial year 2025-26, with the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) as the Scheme Implementation Agency (SIA).
