Airbus secures €2.1Bn contract from Germany's Bundeswehr for next-gen military satellite system SATCOMBw 3. The deal includes designing & integrating 2 military GEO telecom satellites, ground segment upgrades, & 15 years of operational services. New Airbus satellites will be based on the Eurostar Neo platform, set for deployment by the end of the decade.
