A 37-year-old man has been arrested in South Auckland for shoplifting 241 blocks of Whittaker's chocolate from a supermarket. Police acted on information received following a spate of thefts from supermarkets in the Papakura area and located the alleged offender at a property in Duke Street earlier this week. The man has been charged with multiple counts of burglary and shoplifting and will reappear in Papakura District Court on 8 July.
