Former nurse Lucy Letby, convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill six more in 2015-2016, has been found guilty of attempting to murder another newborn baby in a retrial. Letby, 34, had denied any harm to the babies in her care and was sentenced to life imprisonment, with no possibility of release. The retrial focused on the case of a baby girl, known as Child K, whom Letby allegedly tampered with while working at the Countess of Chester Hospital's neonatal unit in Chester, England.
