A Cleveland police officer was fatally shot while serving a warrant on a suspect wanted for felonious assault in the city's Hough neighborhood. The 27-year-old officer was not immediately identified, and the suspect, 24-year-old Delawnte Hardy, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated murder. Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd and Mayor Justin Bibb asked for the community's support and prayers for the officer's family and the police department.
