1 woman dead, another in police custody after a crash on the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto. A two-vehicle collision occurred in a construction zone in the eastbound lanes near Jameson Avenue at 2 a.m., resulting in a fatality and serious injuries to several others. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene, was later arrested, and the lanes reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
