Reliance Retail plans to introduce Chinese fast-fashion brand Shein in India, competing with Walmart-backed Myntra and Tata-owned Westside.

Indian retail giant Reliance Retail Ventures, owned by Mukesh Ambani, plans to introduce the Chinese fast-fashion brand Shein in India in the coming weeks. Shein was previously banned from India due to border tensions with China. Reliance Retail will sell Shein's products through its app and offline stores. Once launched, Shein will compete with Walmart-backed Myntra and Tata-owned Trent's Westside brand in India's $10 billion fast-fashion market.
