3 people arrested at a 'rave' in a closed North Shields water park for causing public nuisance.
Police arrested three people at a 'rave' in Wet 'n' Wild, a closed water park in North Shields. Officers were called to the site on Rotary Way around 9pm on Wednesday, after a small group gathered to listen to music. The arrested individuals were held on suspicion of causing a public nuisance. The water park, once popular with Teessiders, closed in 2020 and has been abandoned since.
