NeighborHealth, formerly East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, held its first Art of Health Care gala at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on June 12. The event, attended by nearly 800 people, featured the 2024 Health Equity Awards, which recognized six leaders for their dedication to improving health equity in the communities served by NeighborHealth. Greg Wilmot, NeighborHealth's President and CEO, noted that the gala provided a platform to honor changemakers who have worked to break down barriers to care for vulnerable populations.
