NASA selects Andre Douglas as backup for Artemis II mission, first crewed flight under Artemis campaign.

NASA has selected astronaut Andre Douglas as its backup crew member for the Artemis II mission, a test flight and the first crewed mission under NASA's Artemis campaign. Douglas will train alongside the primary crew of Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. If a NASA astronaut is unable to participate, Douglas will join the Artemis II crew.
