The Milwaukee Brewers placed third baseman Joey Ortiz and right-hander Enoli Paredes on the injured list due to neck inflammation and right forearm tendinitis, respectively. In corresponding moves, the Brewers recalled infielder Vinny Capra and right-hander Janson Junk from Triple-A Nashville. Ortiz has been an impact player since joining the Brewers, posting a .269 batting average with 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 28 RBIs in 74 games.
