Las Vegas business owner Roland Sagun Torres has been sentenced to 21 months in prison and 3 years of parole for sending over $700,000 in fraudulent invoices to a Nevada hospital. Between 2020 and June 2022, Torres devised a scheme to defraud the hospital using the names of at least 100 patients and doctors. He pleaded guilty on Nov. 3, 2023, and will also pay $712,000 in restitution.
