16 kidnap victims were officially handed over to Zamfara state government by the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. The victims, abducted from Zurmi, Duran, and Gusau Metropolis on April 22, were rescued on June 27 in Shinkafi and Tsafe local government areas. The NSA reiterated the commitment of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government to rid Nigeria of kidnapping and other heinous crimes.
