Kannur International Airport in Kerala faces operational challenges due to peacocks' increasing presence, protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife Act, causing flight disruptions. State Forest Minister A.K. Saseendran and airport officials plan to set up cages to catch and relocate the peacocks to nearby forests to address the issue. Kannur airport, inaugurated in 2018, is the fourth in Kerala.
