Indian social media app Koo, a rival to Twitter, is shutting down permanently after acquisition talks failed. Founded by Mayank Bidawatka and Aprameya Radhakrishna, Koo had raised over $50 million from investors including Tiger Global, Accel, 3one4 Capital, Kalaari Capital, Blume Ventures, and others. The co-founders announced the shutdown on LinkedIn, citing unsuccessful acquisition talks with potential buyers.
