Ghana's NIA staff petition President Akufo-Addo to remove NIA's Executive Secretary, Prof. Attafuah, citing unfair labour practices and violations of labour laws.

Ghana's National Identification Authority (NIA) staff have petitioned President Akufo-Addo to remove the NIA's Executive Secretary, Prof. Kenneth Attafuah. The petition, dated July 1, claims that the staff have lost trust in Prof. Attafuah's administration, citing unfair labour practices, violations of labour laws, and lack of innovative ideas to manage the authority. Nearly the entire NIA staff, 920 members, have endorsed the petition.
