18-year-old Preston Cook, an Altavista resident, was arrested after an armed robbery where he allegedly stole items at gunpoint and followed the victim home. He faces charges including use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (two counts), and breaking and entering a house with intent to commit another misdemeanor. Cook is currently held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail, with additional charges expected.
