World Championship medallist wrestler Vinesh Phogat received a Schengen visa for Spain after seeking "urgent help" from Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Ministry of External Affairs and other authorities. Vinesh's visa application had been delayed, but she was able to get her visa in time for her flight to Madrid for training and competition in the Grand Prix of Spain 2024. She will then travel to France ahead of the Olympic Games.
