Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, visited flood-hit Dibrugarh region to assess the flood situation and evaluate relief operations. Sonowal inspected flood-affected areas, embankment sites, and a relief camp. He instructed the District Commissioner to maintain cleanliness in the camps and prevent disease outbreaks, while also directing medical treatment in the camps.
