1981: UK mother admits to administering morphine to terminally ill son with neuroblastoma.

A dying mother in the UK has admitted to helping her terminally ill son end his life with a large dose of morphine in 1981. Antonya Cooper, the former chair of Neuroblastoma UK, revealed her son, Hamish, had been suffering from stage 4 neuroblastoma and was in constant pain before his death at the age of seven. Police have confirmed they are "making enquiries" into the case.
