18 top-performing Indian states expect 8-10% revenue growth to Rs 38 lakh crore this fiscal year, driven by GST and Centre devolution, according to CRISIL Ratings.

India's top 18 states, accounting for over 90% of the country's GSDP, are projected to see revenue growth of 8-10% to Rs 38 lakh crore this fiscal year, according to a CRISIL Ratings report. The growth, driven by buoyant GST collections and devolution from the Centre, will see revenues surpass last year's 7.5% growth. Sales tax collections from petroleum products and grants from the 15th Finance Commission are expected to grow modestly, while liquor sales revenues are anticipated to remain stable.
